Their standout work to me comes in the form of their bold black flashes and their abstract pieces that I sing such high praises for, for people looking for more alternative and groovy tattoos on their body.

“Their studio is incredibly courteous and welcoming towards neurodivergent people, queer people, and people of colour that is so beautiful to see and be a part of as a client. In particular I admire the colour tests they offer to do for people of colour with darker skin wanting to see how different colored ink would look on them. Yan creates an exciting space where they and their clients are able to feel more at ease when getting their tattoo i.e. having fidget toys, offering multiple breaks if needed/wanted, checking in with the client, and being generally flexible about the process. They are always super friendly and easy to talk to whilst competently going through any needed consultations about the tattoo you're going to get and how to do proper aftercare, which forms a nice balance of comfortability and professionalism that I greatly and wholly appreciate.

“Really wasn't sure what to expect but adored the cute rabbit flash they did, so booked in for one. I was intrigued how being an LGBT/neurodivergent friendly space would work for myself being both of those. The private space made me feel so comfortable and at ease, I loved all the little stim toys available to use and they were so friendly and easy to talk to while I was being tattooed. Their booking process is so easy and straightforward, and allows you to add any details they need to make your tattoo as good as possible. “Yan is an absolute professional, calm and delightful presence in the studio. They have created such a safe space catering towards the comfort of BIPOC, queer, neurodiverse and disabled individuals.

“My tattoo had to be rescheduled a few times for different reasons throughout which communication with Yan was very kind and straightforward. By absolute luck the date of my tattoo aligned with my best friend and we were able to support each other during our respectful sessions. This was my first tattoo and allowing a support person as well as Yan’s method of trauma educated work ethic and explaining each step helped mitigate any stress and the fidget toys helped soothe me during the session. They were also very accomodating towards disability, with use of pillows and allowing to shift positions to avoid any unneeded pain.

“I've gotten many tattoos before in my life but Yan has provided by far the best tattoo experience I've ever had.
